About 5 years ago when we started our first project there we lots of ‘web’ companies as well as lots of ‘marketing’ agencies, each of them did what they were meant to do.. be it make a pretty website, or deliver a slick marketing campaign.
However, none of them brought the two together effectively, some advertising agencies started a web department and a few web guys might have tried marketing.. but it was never a core focus for either, so clients never received the full effect of what was possible.
